Book Repair

The gallery becomes a book hospital for a day. Discover the repair-skills and considerations needed when refurbishing treasured books (artbooks or otherwise). Tim will demonstrate various procedures on some of the gallery's collection, and give each participant advice on a book that they bring.


Participants are invited to bring damaged books in need of repair for advice and guidance.


*all are welcome no experience needed

Durham Art Gallery rests on the traditional land of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, which is represented by the communities of Saugeen First Nation and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation.
