2026 Box Art Project 
a remix fundraiser

Reviving a 1986 collaboration between the Durham Art Gallery and the Tom Thomson Art Gallery, The Box Project invited artists to transform a simple wooden box into a self-contained work of art that will be showcased and auctioned to raise funds for arts programming.

Exhibiting at the Durham Art Gallery from Sunday August 23rd to Sunday September 13th, and featuring 27 incredible artists, this exhibition / fundraiser is sure to be one for the books
